AFK stands for ecological awareness

TÜV checks held at regular intervals and customer audits, as well as certification to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 ensure continuous high levels of quality, safety and hygiene.

The results can be seen in many areas such as our recycling of material and energy. As an example of the efficient use of energy, our complete building is heated using heat recovery, i.e., heat which is generated during production. Production, in turn, uses excess material from one production cycle as a basis for each following cycle. A fully automated distribution system autonomously provides production units with recyclable granules. In the moulding process the typical sprues are formed.

What is special at AFK is that we do not dispose of production-generated waste, but directly recycle this excess material. Within our recycling system, sprues are therefore automatically separated, ground and fed back to the production cycle. Thus we have no need to remove waste.

All process waste is fully used. This is our concept of maximizing recycling without any loss of quality.
