A customer specializing in producing and selling high quality plastic packaging asked AFK to develop a special spout. The challenge was to ensure that customers can pour out the liquid from the can cleanly and without loss.

To produce the spouts, a highly complex die with four separate, freely programmable core pulls was devised. The very tight production tolerances ensure the precise fit of the finished part.
The truly innovative feature of the spout is the integral bleeder: it allows optimal levels of air to enter the can during pouring so that the notorious splashing and gurgling is avoided.
